In the yogurt, there are 80% Casein Protein and 20% Whey Protein. As we know casein and whey protein present in the milk so same like casein and whey protein also present in the curd. In the curd, 80% casein protein is present so it means it is a slow digesting protein. So curd does not fast digest. Casein keeps you full and casein will help you to absorb impotent minerals like Calcium Phosphorus. So calcium will absorb because yogurt has casein.

If we are taking low-fat yogurt then we take 4 gram of protein, 5 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fat and If we are taking non-fat yogurt then we take 4 gram of protein, 5 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fat.

If you are taking 250 grams of yogurt in a serving then we take 10 gram of protein, 12 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fat. And we always prefer non-fat.

In the yogurt, there are 60% Saturated Fat and other almost fat 35% – 40% is Polyunsaturated Fat and Monounsaturated fat which is good fat. So avoid hole yogurt and low fat because we want much saturated. If you are taking yogurt once in a day, then there is no problem with whole fat yogurt.
